An excellent way to support Japan is to visit wonderful Uguisu online store, who donates 80% of the profit to Red Cross Japan right now. There's a ton of beautiful Japanese paper goods.
You would not only support Japan with your purchase but also receive something you can keep as a memory of this difficult time and the brave Japanese people.
