We are test mounting Triplex Lamps, eating gingerbread cookies, drinking tea and trying to stay warm. We've got the first proper snow just in time for Advent. All in all a very nice weekend.
The lamps are slowly taking shape, still waiting for new, improved parts we had to mount a lamp from the first prototype series.
The Triplex is photographed on Fredrikdal museums and gardens in Helsingborg, at the dentist's museum. Shows well how the lamp was used back then, for it's flexibility.
This model is adjustable in all directions, versatile and telescopic. The shade is new for me though, haven't seen this model before, maybe it was a special one for dentists.
Let me know if you spot any Triplex lamps out there, will you?
I found these on Ai's amazing blog "it will stop raining", just by conincidence. Do you recognize the lamp in the bottom left corner, in the shade of the big shining lamp? It is a Triplex, in Japan. Update: Ai says it's actually in Seoul, Korea. Cool, huh?
I do like the big lamp too :)
This is a converted 20th century warehouse in Melbourne, found here. Looks like there's lots of space and light. I love the kitchen.
I guess the space and often the windows, are two of the things I love with industrial properties.
